Jellyfish- Interactive Data Visualization
An interactive data visualization of jellyfish was created using Adobe XD. The interactive data visualization is linked to different pages that provide more details about different types of jellyfish, from the smallest to the biggest. The target audience in the process was children and teens; therefore, the design is more cute and colorful to keep the audience interested in the data visualization.
The pages were designed on Adobe XD and were all interactive. The first page is the homepage, which directs you to either "Facts About Jellyfish" or the "Smallest to Biggest Jellyfish" page. The Smallest to Biggest Jellyfish page allows the viewer to click on each jellyfish and find more information on each one.
The Lion's Mane jellyfish was designed using Adobe Illustrator. Inspiration came from different jellyfish images and the process of making it a realistic and fun design.
The colors used in the data visualization represent how colorful jellyfish are, and the blues represent the ocean. It was intended to give the data visualization the feeling of being underwater with jellyfish.
